He is the head of the household, married, 48, an agricultural labourer, born Rhuddlan and Welsh speaking. His wife is Elizabeth, age 52, a laundress, born St Asaph and Welsh speaking. The children are all bilingual: Ellen, daughter, single, 22, general servant domestic, born Rhuddlan; Thomas, son, 17, single, baker, born Llanasa; Annie, daughter, 14, scholar, born Newmarket, William, son, age 10, scholar, born Rhyl; Herbert, son, age 6, scholar, born Rhyl. Edwin Frimston (Winstone on the transcripts) was a stableman and groom living in the stables (head, age, 20, single,) at Bodrhyddan Stables, in Rhuddlan.
